Just playing around

Jeff is on an ambulatory pediatric rotation and has scheduled hour luch breaks. The boys and I were able to meet him at the park across from the Children's hospital 3 times a week for a pinic and some play time. It was AWSOME.
Everytime Ethan sees the spiderweb he starts singing "spiderman, spiderman" He has only heard the song from Jordan and he loves it.
This pirate ship is a dirt moving playhouse. Jeff and Ethan play here most of the break.
For our anniversary we picked up lunch and met Daddy for a surprise.
Sorry these are sideways. Just showing everyone how dedicated Jeff is. Even though it started pooring rain he still cooked our chicken on the grill.
Looking through the wall of water at Jeff outside.
Look how tall the tomatoes have grown.
They are just getting started, I bet they will have tons of tomatoes while we are in Utah an Jeff will not eat them. Hopefully someone will.
Happy memorial day! Austin was given an oreo by one of the little boys and obviously loved it.

We went to a friends house for a bbq and had so much fun. Ethan was in heaven. They had three boys who all played so well with Ethan. They had a kiddie pool, a trampoline, a swing set, some basketball, corn hole and a digging pit. The best place ever for a two year old boy.
Ouch! Luckily the boys weren't in the car and nobody was hurt. We do get new carseats and a new door.
My first tomato. Yay!!
The three other tomatoes that didn't make it. Ethan knows not to pick them, but he was just too excited.
Austin LOVES food. He will eat all day. He is a garbage disposal and will eat ANYTHING.
He eats way better than Ethan.
Such a sweet happy boy!
Austin gets his corn cut off the cob. apparntly it is not necessary. He found Ethan's mostly empty cob and would not give it back to me. He screamed whenever I tried to take it away. He worked on it for over and hour.
He is so funny.
This is as creative as I get when it comes to cooking. Ethan thought it was so funny. He ate it all.
We all ate fun dinner.
OH-IO go Buckeyes! Isn't he a great cheerleader?
Grandma Pack came out for a visit while Jeff was on spring break. It was such fun. We went to the spring buckeye football game.
It is fun to cheer for both teams. We can't wait until the season starts again.
The boys loved it and Ethan wouldn't let us leave until the game was over. It was so hot and we wanted to leave before half time. But we found a spot in the shade and then it felt so nice.
Ethan loved watching the game and yelled and cheered through the whole game. Thanks for coming out Grandma.
Ethan playing out back with his best friends Savannah, Charlotte and Sam. They brought out their kites and Ethan was amazed. We sure are going to miss them when they move in June!
Ethan running with the kite flying behind him.
Oh-no.
Crash!
A little soccer and it is the perfect afternoon for Ethan.
Now how does this work?
Ethan no longer wants pull-ups or a diaper even when he sleeps. I insist at bedtime or I would always be washibng his sheets, but he is potty-trained! YAY!!!
Can't quite get his sippy in his mouth, but he screamed if I tried to help him. He is so independant.
Closer.
He is still so hungry he is eating his bib looking for food he may have dropped. Austin is such a good eater he gained almost 2 pounds in 10 days this month. Now if he could just teach Ethan to do that we would be set.

strawberry shortcake!

Easter morning!

Easter 2009

Mommy and Daddy's basket. Yummy!
Austin's basket. A teether, a ball and fruit, lucky baby!
Ethan got a b-ball, a puzzle game and "nemo" snacks. The boys also got matchy match mcqueen swim outfits.
We love the Easter bunny. Ethan liked the resurrection story and loves stories about Jesus.
I love food! Especialy treats, I think this is whip cream from strawberry shortcake.
We went to this egg hunt last year and it was tons of eggs and very few children. So we went again. This year it was lame, because there was no snow falling they had an outdoor church service and incredibly lame puppet show before the hunt and there were tons of kids. Well it gave us something to do while Daddy studied.
He did get some cool treats in a bag and a balloon.
We got these at another egg hunt that was crazy crowded but way fun. The eggs all had little toy animals in them. Ethan was so excited! Austin found a golden egg and won a boomerang.
These ring pops were bunny shaped and even though they were gross they loved them.
All that Austin wanted for Easter. We have stopped letting him eat suckers with paper sticks because we found him with a dumdum ball and part of a stick in his mouth. He may only have two teeth, but he knows how to use them.
The pirate treasure. This is just from one hunt.
ARR. Ethan loves pirates and his favorite show backyardigans has an episode about captain red boots. He always wants to play "red boots" and sings all the songs.
Austin is such a happy baby. I love him!
Austin wasn't sure what we were doing, but he is up for anything.
Cheese!
Getting ready for the hunt.
Ethan is tired. We had to wake him up to go.
Between Ethan and Austin we had a lot of treats.
Yum!!

Family night at the zoo!

We were officially invited to the members only preveiw night at the zoo for their Easter celebration. All the rides were open and free so we spent most our time on the rides. We also had to find all of the new baby elephants friends throughout the zoo and write their names down to enter into a drawing. We won a Disney DVD. Wahoo! It was sucha fun night and we were so glad Daddy was able to come too!
Ethan loves the train and always wants to ride it. He didn't want to get off.
Austin doing his favorite thing. Eating!
Kind of blurry, but you can see the pure joy on both faces! I love these boys!
Austin just liked the lights!
He was a little nervous at first, he thought we were going to take away his crackers while he was gone.
Notice the mouthful of crackers! Goofball.
Not quite sure of the COSI mouse. (Also mouthful of cracker picture.)
Free Red Robin dinner (and more cracker mouth.)
Still eating. There is a reason my 9 month weighs 19.45 pounds! Ethan weighed that at 11 months.
This is like a scrambler ride. Ethan was probably too short to ride it but they weren't checking height very closely He was only a 1/2 inch from the 36 inch height limit.
Waiting in the line for the swings. She almost didn't let him ride, but I put his hat on then his hoodie and he was tall enough.
He LOVED the big swings. He squealed the whole ride.
WEE!
After tons of "live" photos that didn't work very well, we staged one. He had soooo much fun.
These boys are best friends. Austin is growing in to their fun and the three of them have such a good time no matter what we do.
Missed Ethan and Daddy's "l-nut". Opps!
I got the back.
Well I got Daddy!
It was slightly windy and a little cool but Austin was as happy as can be with some snacks.
Mommy got to ride too!
Mommy was cold!
WEE! We all had so much fun.
We especially liked the teacup ride. They let Austin ride!
Worms! Disgusting, I guess you have to cringe and just smile when you live with a housefull of boys!
Just don't eat them, they don't taste good, ask cousin Eric.
He is totally fascinated with worms, beetles, spiders, ants and especially caterpillars.
