A whole new meaning to "Horsie bite"

While visiting the Washington DC monuments we spotted a police officer on a horse walking around. Amanda really wanted to take a picture with the horse and Addi. So we tracked him down and asked to take a picture he said yes and told amanda to stand on a line then he would ride up behind her for a great shot. Well he stuck the horse's head between Amanda and Addi. He was right it was a great shot. After the picture he asked if I wanted one with Ethan. I was slightly apprehensive but agreed. Well I was standing there holding Ethan and mom was trying to make the camera work when suddenly Chandra yells that the horse is biting Ethan. I immediately move him away as he starts screaming. Well we look at his finger and it is smashed flat. He was lucky he has skinny fingers or I am sure he would have lost it. It was so sad and we didn't even get the picture! To compensate the police officer escorted us to the Washington monument and arranged to let us up for a grand tour. Usually you have to go stand in line at like 6 am to get the tickets. I guess it was okay after all.

Across the street from Ford Theater is the house where Abe Lincoln died.
In Alexandria, a cute little pub where we ate lunch. Great food and a fun atmosphere.
Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream store in Alexandria. The tour guide had a coupon we couldn't resist.

Aunt Chandra tried to make the birds jump onto the stroller. Mom tried to keep them off. Ethan got so excited when the birds would spook and all fly away.

On the way home from Gettysburg we saw a million signs for the Bear Store. So we stopped by to check it out. I have never seen so many teddy bears in my life. It was three levels of bears everywhere! Addi was helping put on Ethan's hat. She is so sweet.
Neither one was sure they wanted to be there but they smiled.

This is my fat picture that I am mortified about. I only posted it for weight loss motivation. I maybe the same weight I was before Ethan, but it looks slightly different now.

Does this ring any bells? or should I say bugles? hahaha The museum that I can't remember the name of but has all of the collections of movie and historical stuff was closed so they had a few of the coolest things at the Air and Space museum.

This is at the Natural History Smithsonian. Ethan loved the animals they looked like the zoo animals were holding very still.

This is at Arlington Cemetary in the President's chair. The President gives his memorial day speech every year in this ampitheater. Just behind here is the tomb of the unknown soldier.

Addi and Ethan had such a fun time playing together all week.
