Sorry I posted everything backwards. Also most of these pictures are from Grandma's camera and are super blurry. I think Grandma needs a new camera too! Ethan all worn out from no sleep. Poor little buddy.

If I get a choice I pick that he breaks his collar bone again and not his arm. It was such a rough couple of weeks.

He still believes he is a super hero and this is his super hero look.

Daddy got out all his old lego sets and let Ethan play with them. Well actually daddy said Ethan could only play when Jeff was there to supervise, but how can you say no to a 2 year old with a broken arm?

Thanks mom for storing these since Jeff was little. The boys will love them.

Who says sugar makes kids hyper? Goodnight sleepy guy.

He wouldn't losen his grip on the sucker he just repositioned himself and held on tight.

So dang cute!

A lot of our time was spent playing pinoccle. Thanks everyone for playing with us.

A good shot of his broken arm. So Ethan was jumping around playing Batman and mommy said "Ethan you had better settle down before you get hurt". Then Daddy said "lets see Batman fly" and Ethan jumped off the couch and landed at an angle and we all heard a snap. So we gathered him up, put him in the car and and left Austin and baby Braden (who we were babysitting) with Grandma and Papa and called Aunt Jessica to meet us at the hospital. Jessica is a rad tech and lakeview so was able to get us right in and the pictures taken immediately. They said they couldn't see the break, but he had a positive fat pad sign which meant he probably did break it. So they put a cast on and told us to follow up with an ortho surgeon in 3-5 days. We weren't going to be home yet so we called our insurance and they said to just wait or take him to an ER. His pain was out of control and he was so miserable we took him to the children's hospital. They took more X-rays and were really concerned about his arm. They took a long time debating whether he needed emergent surgery there to pin his growth plate or if we could wait the 6 days until we drove home to Ohio. They decided it was okay to travel but that we needed to go in as soon as we got home. The only thing worse then traveling across the country with two kids is when one has a newly broken arm. Poor little guy. He was such a trooper and we eventually made it home. The Ohio pediatric ortho said it might not be broken, so he took the cast off and asked Ethan if certain things hurt it. Ethan is one tough kid and did not want his cast on, so he refused to say anything hurt. They decided it wasn't broken, but was just sore and sent us home without a cast. It still hurt him for weeks and he is just starting to use his dominant hand again 6 months later. Poor kid.

Did not like people to draw attention to his arm at all. He was not about to show grandma for a picture.

Alright I will show you my arm.

I am not showing you anything.

Grandma's house always has great treats. I don't even remember what he was eating, but he spent a lot of time in the highchair.

Cheese!

Merry Christmas breakfast. Thanks Daddy for the french toast with special syrup.

Yummy!

I guess we had better cut it up for him. He wasn't sure what to do with it.

Helping Papa open presents.

Playing with his new choo-choo.

Ethan is obsessed with Batman! Santa knew exactly what he wanted tons of Batman toys!

Mommy got a great new present too! Yay!

Daddy opening the toys so the boys could play.

Merry Christmas!

Wow! We got spoiled!

No wonder he broke his arm.

Thanks Grandma for the "Batman Outfit". The boys won't take them off.

Austin worships his brother and wants to do everything he does.

Lounging at Grandma's ready to watch a movie.

Snacking while Grandma makes treats.

The boys realized they loved toast with jam. Especially Austin!
Reading book with Grandma and Papa!
