Just in case you haven't seen enough of our zoo!

Ethan and Chandler playing race the balls down the hill. Chandler loves this game and plays it forever. ethan plays for a few minutes then is off to something different. It is funny to see how different children are.
This is another of chandlers favorite toys at Cosi. He is such fun to have with us. We just love him.
Claire pushing a walker. To her mother's dismay, Claire took three steps on her own at Cosi today and her mommy missed it. Mary Cat came back over and I was like when did she start walking and she was like "what?" Oops! Never mind, I didn't see anything.
Ethan and Chandler both love to squirt the water at the spinning things. They are usually saoked by the time we leave Cosi!
Ethan couldn't stand not playing with Claire and Austin so he just climbed in. Luckily he is the same weight as many one year olds so he didn't break the chairs.
Ethan loves Claire and is always trying to make her laugh.
Chandler was quick to realize that the ball didn't belong in the water so he fished it out and returned it to the ball area. Such a sweet boy.
I love their little legs hanging down.
When you place your hand on one of the hands it makes different pitched drum sounds. Ethan loves to drum.
Austin loves water and especially loves to SPLASH!
This is how Lexie prefers to stroll the zoo. She cracks me up.
Happy Austin. He doesn't mind wearing pink!
Lately Ethan has been big into tigers. He thinks he is hot stuff riding on the tiger.
We went with Molly in her car to the zoo and of course when we were getting out of the car I noticed that Austin was soaked. I looked down and to my horror, he was covered in poop! I had used my extra set of clothes from the diaper bag and thought we would have to turn around and go home. Luckily Molly had some of Lexies gently used pink clothes in her car. So we put him in the trunck and changed his nasty clothes. He actually made quite a cute girl.
I left him in the pink clothes for Jeff to see. When Jeff called to say he was on his way home I said we were watching Lexie to see if he would notice. He recognized it was Austin immediately.
Worn out after the zoo.
When he is naked you can tell how crazy skinny he is.
This is just some cute kid at the zoo, but I took this picture of his cute red hair for Amanda. I was wondering if Aiden's hair might look similar? It was so dang cute in real life, I just didn't get a great picture of it.
What lucky boys, Daddy took them on the "horsie" ride. Austin was getting frusterated that they were just sitting there, but as they were loading this 9 year old started throwing up everywhere so they had to take time to clean that up before they could start the ride.
Kate, Cole and Matt came with us to enjoy the spring weather. I love 70 degree weather it is perfect. I want to live in San Diego!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ethan!

Eating cake on the back porch. I don't know what I was thinking, but I didn't take a picture of his tool box and tools cake.
Some of our friends who came to celebrate.
More friends.
After opening 2/3 of his presents he decided he wanted to finish opening them by Molly. He LOVES Molly!
He liked opening presents.
Maddie is one of Ethan's best friends. She moved in last summer just up the street. We are so lucky to have such good friends all around us. Maddie looked so cute I just couldn't resist posting her picture.
Magei, Ella and Charlotte watching the presents being opened.
Just figuring out what is going on. After two presents he had it down.
Chaos after the pinata.
Waiting to open presents. Hurry mommy!
Handy Manny is one of Ethan's favorite toys. He puts him in the stroller and pushes him all around.
Pinata's are great!
Daddy had to break it open. The two year olds picked up one piece of candy nd treid to open it, the older kids were scooping it up as fast as they could.
Thanks Molly for watching Austin during the party. You are always such a huge help!
Charlotte trying to get the candy out.
Ethan thought swinging Daddy's big heavy bat was awsome. (he isn't allowed to play with it) Pinata is always a funny game with 12 tiny children.
Friends!
Jenny and Hyrum Swenson. They are 4th year med students going in to anesthesia next year. Let us know how it goes so we know if we need to quickly change our minds!
Pin the tool on the belt. Daddy was so creative making this game!
Handy Manny was on in the backgound for the whole party.
Stretch limbo was a big hit!
Our sack lunches/picinic in the living room. They had PB&J sandwiches, juice bottles, applesauce, pudding, goldfish crackers and cheese. YUM! each child had to find their lunch with their name on it.
It looks chaotic, but it was so much fun!! We played Stretch limbo, pin the tool on the belt, Pinata, we used chalk to draw Ethan Happy Birthday messages on the sidewalk as the guests came in (which he loved for a week everytime we walked outside) and Manny says (like Simon says). Then the kids had awsome goodie bags with Mrs. Portillo cookies, Mr. Lophart candy, Stretch bubble tape, marking pencils, bouncy balls, chalk and putty(playdough). I don't mean to brag, but it was an awsome party.

Laughing and laughing...

Kalahari with the Tolberts and Chris' visit

So silly. I love this kid!
This is actually out of order and is after we took Chris to Cosi.
Night-night!
"Old Mommy" I think I look like this some mornings after a rough night with the kids.
" Old Ethan" He is still so handsome.
Chris playing with Ethan. After Chris left, Ethan asked about him every morning for a week. When we told him he got on the airplane to go home with Grandma he seemed ok about it. The minute we got off the plane weeks later in Utah he immediately asked "where christian?"
Chris was such a great helper and friend to Ethan. He loves Chris.
Austin loves Cosi!!
Hands up.
Chris trying out the high wire unicycle.
And when we couldn't swim any longer... they had an indoor playground. This place was a childs dream!
Playing with Darity.
The kid pool and the racing slides up above. I can not fully describe the huge amoung of water park area they have there. It was awsome!
The surfing area, and adult hot tub/bar area.
Another overview of our fun trip.
Something cool must have happened.
Ethan loved all the realistic animals. It was such a fun place.
I will if you do...
Ethan and Sydney were such good friends. He totally worshiped the ground she walked on. He must have been telling her something important.
