Chris and Stephanie at Thanksgiving.

At the zoo Ethan being brave and standing on a mushroom.
Cute Christmas card! Ethan just loves Chris and Stephanie.
Cheese! Merry Christmas!
We didn't take a lot of pictures when they were here, but we had a ton of fun. We even convinced Stephanie to come out shopping for black Friday! Thanks for coming out guys and we hope you come this Thanksgiving!

Uncle Jonathan came to see us

Playing with weather and how humidity and temperature affect the weather and if it snows or rains or is a desert.
Playing with the video stuff and adding graphics. Learning how they make tv.
Blasting off into outer space.
Exploding a bottle into the air.
Balance test that I am horrible at, but Jon and Jeff are much more coordinated.
Jon must be a gamer, he was playing a game where you have to land the space ship onto the space shuttle or something, anyway it is wicked hard and I haven't been able to do it. It took him one try.
Ethan thought it was cool to watch uncle Jon.
Austin loves to play in the water. We just love COSI.
Uncle Jon playing with Austin, trying to win him over. Austin was terrified of Jonathan the whole visit. When Jonathan got here it was the middle of the night so the boys didn't see him until the next morning. Ethan ran down to wake Jon up the next morning and of course Austin followed. Ethan and Jon were talking and Austin didn't mind until Jon sat up from his bed and Austin realized he and Ethan were not alone. Austin started screaming at the top of his lungs. He never got over it.
Austin loves the underwater area. Checking out the old school divers suit.
Waiting for their turn to dive in the submarine.
Longest line to ride the unicycle ever! It was apparently junior high field trip day which meant 300 kids tall enough to ride and who only wanted to stand in line anyway.
Worth the wait. He was so fast I could hardly get the picture.

The zoo had two weekends of Halloween trick or treating activities and luckily one was while Jon was here. So we went in the pouring rain to the zoo. We had a ton of fun and the boys loved being outside. A Gecko on the wall. I don't know why but I thought it was cool.
Sorry it is blurry but it was such a sweet picture.
Looking for a treat station to fill up his bucket.
Austin trying to figure out the uneven ground of the manatee exhibit.
This is often how I feel.
So gross, but this is a picture of the monkey eating poop. SICK!!!! But hold on, he is not just eating poop, oh no much worse. He is pulling poop from his bum hole and then eating it. I'm sorry scientists but I AM NOT THAT closely related to monkeys!!!
Ethan loves snakes, the boys love to touch the reptiles in the touch line.
Jon touching the snake. Ethan was very insistent that Jon touch it too.
The alligator turtle is super creepy looking.
Some of the more creative entries at the pumpkin carving contest.
Beco is our baby elephant.
So this one I would love to try, they cut the top and bottom off a pumpkin then balanced a gourd/squash thin on it and painted. Super cute ideas.
At the hay maze in the zoo. Thanks Jon for taking the boys through and playing with them.
Austin was looking for Mommy, but I guess Jon would do until I can find him.
Such a cute Buckeye fan!
Enjoying the game with Uncle Jon.
Cheese! We are glad Jon could come out for the buckeye game.
He thinks he is so funny.
Thanks for taking me to the game daddy and Jon.
Apparently the only picture I took at the church trunk or treat.
When I first looked in the cotton candy I thought their was a huge bug. I was freaking out. All around the object was a hole in the candy like it had been eating its way out.
I took the lid off and realized it was a pretzel goldfish that the boys had dropped into the cotton candy and the salt had melted the candy into sugar. I guess no one can resist the sugary goodness of cotton candy! Even the goldfish was eating it.
My "mighty knight". I don't know why he was naked but this is how he came up from the toy room. Goofball!
Ethan really wanted a picture of his Disney pirate toys.

Just too funny!

Austin had been walking around all day trying to get someone to open the cheese balls. Thanks daddy!

Halloween at the zoo!

The superhero show at the zoo.
The boys loved the superhero show I couldn't even get them to look at the camera.
Austin was getting sleepy, it was past his bedtime. We had to keep going, we hadn't gotten all the treats at boo at the zoo. They had free brats and hot chocolate that night and it was awsome. I love our zoo and will miss it terribly when we move.
Arr!

Such a cute pirate.
Ethan learning about recycling at the conservation center.

Fall 2009

Farmer Austin at the local farm we went to and picked up pumpkins.
Farmer Ethan
Ethan playing on the tractor.
He thought he was so cool.
Jeff was all poopy after playing with the boys in the barn. I was way excited it was him and not me.
Sitting in the hay, playing around waiting for Daddy and Ethan to finish so we could go pick pumpkins.
Sorry about the blurry pictures, Ethan messed up my settings when he was trying to take a picture of Austin all by himself.
The orange blur in the middle of the slide is Austin. I posted this so you could get a feel for how fast this slide was. We were not expecting it to be fast and ethan came flying down and shot off the slide so fast and landed on his face. He was kind of offended by the ending of the slide and wasn't sure he wanted to go again. I tried to catch Austin but he just knocked me over too.
Daddy racing to get to austin before he could go down by himself.
Ethan before he knew how fast the slide was. I swear they greased it with cooking oil.
Daddy had to go rescue Austin who couldn't find his way out of the maze.
Ethan found some corn and was insistent that it be fed to the goat, who was super excited to be hand-fed.

Bringing the corn he found to show me before feeding the goat.
Ethan found a random ear of dried corn in the children's maze.
Jeff making sure he could find the kids after they went in. Claire is standing next to Ethan, I am not sure why but this is the only picture I had with her in it.
Austin being brave and entering into the maze.
Jeff hopped over the hay so he could have easy/quick access to the kids while they played.

Ethan loved the animals at the farm and was way upset when we had to leave.
