Mamma got up
really early with the boys and went out to jump on the tramp.

and they loved it! They played all kinds of pretend games.

We got a hotel in
Charlottesville VA and we even found one with a pool. The hotel was pretty empty which gave us a great private pool.
Mamma bought these toys at the dollar store and they were great! Thanks
Mamma!
GG didn't bring a swim suit, but it was too hot outside to sit by the pool, so she put here feet in to cool down.

My little fish love to swim.

They also love to fly.

Ethan and
Mamma playing around.

Whee!

Austin is a great swimmer. He "runs" underwater to
propel himself forward. His legs move so super fast it is hilarious to watch.

Another view of his underwater running.

Austin would climb out run over to the edge and jump in... over and over and over.

Austin is not afraid.

Hold on
Mamma that alligator is squirmy.

Ethan mid jump. I love his pointed toes.

Disgusting spider the boys found on the edge of the pool. Jeff squished it and threw it out in the grass. I am so glad they told us about it and didn't try to touch it.

It really was HUGE!

Playing
pinochle with
GG and Daryl.

Daryl and I won!

Then we went to Outer Banks NC. The condo Daryl found for us was right on the beach. This is the semi-private beach right in front of the condo.

We should really have checked our
sportsbrella before we left Ohio. It was really broken, but it still worked (kind of).

Thanks for having us Chris and Stephanie. We love hanging out with you guys.

Stephanie was such a big help with the boys and they love her so much.

Austin is
definitely a beach bum. He would be perfectly content to live on the beach.

Daryl kept hiking to the ocean to fill up bucket of water so the boys could play in the sand and not get burned. It was so super hot.

Chris and Stephanie were super fun and a ton of help. We just love having them around.

They were out really far for having a 2 year old and 3 year old with them. It made me a little nervous, but the kids loved it.

Chris, Austin, Mommy and baby
Jace.

All the adult (except 8 month pregnant me and
GG) played on the boogie boards. I loved seeing
Mamma and Daryl out there.

We even saw dolphins in the water. Ethan thought that was awesome.

We learned Jellyfish only sting if they have this weird red stuff inside of them.

Ethan and Austin both loved the jellyfish. Austin keeps finding my
Lilypads and saying "Mommy you jellyfish?".

Jeff taking our picture in the pool from the balcony of our condo. Ethan and Mommy are doing the "Pack Wave".

Pack Wave again. Jeff went up to change a
poopy Austin swim diaper. Thanks sweetie!

Mommy loves
Austin.

Waiting for our table at the all you can eat fresh seafood buffet. I don't think this was a playground, it looked more like a prop. After we left we found a little park behind the restaurant, too bad we didn't see it earlier (we waited for over an hour.) It was totally worth the wait.

While we waited for our table we walked across the street to see the beach at night.

I would like to think this picture is distorted and I wasn't really this huge with 2 whole months before my due date, but I doubt it.

"We're going to Mars, we're going to Mars". When Ethan noticed the picnic tables he climbed up and started signing the
Backyardagains song. What a
smartie.

Watch out Jeff that is super fresh.

I can't believe what a good eater Ethan is. He tried everything.

There was some really good things and some really gross things, but we all tried everything. Even Jeff the pickiest eater in the world tried everything. I was super proud of him.

I really wonder about the first person who ate some of this stuff. What were they thinking?

Ethan ate two giant plates of prime rib. He is his Mommy's boy.

And Mommy ate at least that much prime rib on top of everything else. I was so full and refluxing so bad I was super miserable all night. Buffet + 8 month pregnant = BAD.

Ethan thought he was so funny and he is!

Austin was so super tired he crashed in his ice cream. He must have been really wiped out to leave his ice cream unfinished.

Too cool.

We were the last people to leave and they were more than anxious to get us out, but we still paused for a picture.

We went to the Wright Brothers museum in Outer Banks.

This looks just like Mamma's sewing machine.

Goof!

The hill that the Wright brothers flew their first couple planes from.

A very fuzzy picture of our cars thermostat that said 113 degrees. TOO HOT!!!! There was a ton of things to do at the Wright brothers museum, but a lot of it was outside and for two toddlers and a very pregnant mommy it was just TOO HOT!

The field they flew over.

Jeff's serious OBSESSION! He was waiting for us to finish getting the boys jr. ranger badges.

A model of one of the airplanes.

We found Rita's right on the beach strip across from our condo. So of course we couldn't leave without stopping.

What a goof!

Even GG found something she liked!

Austin loves ice cream!

Can't you tell.

MMMMMMM

This picture does not do the sunset justice, but it was gorgeous!!!!

Mamma took the boys out for some fresh (hot) air. Christain and Stephanie have this great little park right behind their apartment. The boys had so much fun. Thanks for taking them out to play Mamma!

The boys found a neighbors bike out front so they borrowed it.

Outside the Francom's apartment.

Ethan is such a monkey.

On a bug hunt!

Such a stud.

Too hot, so Mamma stripped him down to his shorts.

Supporting the Adam look. Just kidding, he didn't want to get his shorts wet in the baby stream.

Austin has amazing balance for a 2 year old.

Outside Chris and Stephanie's apartment.

These popcicles were awesome. They are a fruit bar from Sam's club and they are soooo good.
Ethan took the pillow case off his pillow and used it as a sleeping bag over his legs. I guess it was his way of telling us the AC was working well.
